Mingus Manor Fundraiser at the ball game
Karen & I want to thank everyone that particpated in the fundraiser
last night at the Diamondbacks vs. Chicago Cubs game. We had a great time & it was awesome mingling with clients.

April is the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month
April is the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. Some
of my friends on FB asks why I post such sad & depressing stories on animal abuse. I say I do this because they
have no voice. Someone has to speak up for them because they can't. For anyone to think that an animal does not
feel pain, hurt, depression, just like us humans, is wrong. DOGS PRAYER: Treat
me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in the entire world is more grateful for your kindness than mine. Don't be angry
with me for long, and don't lock me up as punishment. After all, you have your job, your friends and your entertainment. I
only have you." Author Unknown (read from an article in the "Dog Examiner")  Harlow & Lucy, previous animals that were severly  abused, live in a loving home now. Harlow's previous
owner put cigarette butts out on her back & she still bears those scars & lost of hair. Lucy is a mystery on
exactly what happened to her, but she is still terrified of people.
