This morning's adventure was a doggie hike in South Mountain, off the Pima Trailhead.  Tank and Coco are learning trail manners, and because it was so nice out this morning (78 degrees), we did a little bit more climbing.  Here are a few pics.  All pics have been posted on the "Comfy Pets of AZ Fan Page on Facebook".

These are just a few pics from our Doggie Doo Adventures @ Cosmo Park on July 22nd.

We have added a new location for our Doggie Doo Advenutures:  Cosmo Dog Park in Gilbert.  This park features a lake that the dogs can actually play in.  Our first adventure here will be Thursday and Tank, Coco & Willa will be the first doggies to try this new adventure.  So, look for new pictures.

Our Doggie Doo Adventures is coming along great.  On Tuesday, we spent the morning at the RJ Dog Park and Thursday will be a nice hike in South Mountain.  Friday's adventure will be a stroll around the Alvord Lake in Laveen. 

We only have a couple opened spots available for your pooch to join us.  Click on "Doggie Adventures" for more details.  During the summer months, we offer one adventure, very early in the morning, per day.  Beginning in October, several adventures per day will be offered. 

It's time to get Fido out of the Dog House and into our Adventures.

This weekend we will be celebrating the 4th of July, so be very cautious around your animals.  Most dogs, and cats as well, spook very easy when hearing the sound of fireworks going off.  Remember, it's illegal to do fireworks in the city of Phoenix.  As a young girl, my great dane went through the sliding glass window trying to get away from fireworks that a neighbor was sitting off.  It wasn't pretty.

Tips:

• Keep your animal calm by staying home and around your pets
• pet your pet to sooth and calm him/her
• Do not light fireworks around your animals

This is Coco and Tank.  Coco luvs to eat and Tank would spend all day in the pool if allowed.  This picture was taken during a recent visit and they are so active, it was hard getting the two of them to stand still for a picture.
